Ah, Vintage Posters and New Illustrations

I seriously don't know what it is about them but I adore them. Maybe it's just because we don't see as many illustrated posters anymore so they have to be vintage? I think it's more the essence they portray. The fashion, the idealism at of the time period, it all comes together so nicely and I often notice that many of the elements depicted are still current today.

Getting Knocked Down (and getting up again!)

I recently went through a bit of a traumatic experience with an ex-roommate. I felt the need to write about it in order to get my thoughts in place and to get it off my chest. Sometimes we get knocked down by people, and it can be hard to find peace again, or it may take some time to heal.
